Our core group made the decision to focus on getting ready for the fall Primaries by getting out the vote, and educating voters about the upcoming election. Therefore, the August 9th meeting will be a planning session to prepare for the fall. There will be two areas of emphasis.
- Voter registration, education and turnout.
- Candidate forums and/or information about the candidates
Please attend on the 9th to share your ideas about how Action Ridge can best meet its goal of preparing for the fall elections!!

List of upcoming trainings for Cook County suburbs
Plans for setting up registration stations, educating voters and getting out the vote
7:45 – 8:30 Set Plans for Getting to know Candidates
Review list of candidates and dates to invite them Sept & Oct meeting for a question/answer session
Written answers to the questions or in person format?
Prepare questions that relate to our Mission Statement for each candidate.
Make plans to contact the candidates (who will call them?).
8:30 – Other business
Updates on common sense gun regulations and other current actions.
Other specific group issues
