Here’s information about the event that Maureen and Bill McInerney, of G-PAC, told us about at our last meeting. G-PAC is the political action group here in Illinois that works hard to reduce gun violence by supporting gun violence prevention legislation primarily. This event provides an important source of financial support for their work. We are being invited to attend by Kathleen Sances, leader of G-PAC. We hope she will speak to us at our November meeting. If you’re unable to go to the event, consider sending them a check and also spread the word! We all have to do our part to reduce the terrible gun violence in our city. Nan
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help promoting our Profile in Courage Award Ceremony on Thursday, October 18. We have an exciting program that should pack the house if we all roll up our sleeves and get to work.
This year we are honoring JB Pritzker, State Representative Kathleen Willis and ChicagoStrong.

- State Representative Kathleen Willis pushed our priority policy to stop illegal guns through the House of Representatives TWICE.
