Join us in person or from home as we continue to navigate the pandemic. Sweet & Tart's party room holds 49 people so there is plenty of room to spread out. Proof of vaccination is currently required to enter Cook County restaurants so plan accordingly.
Local Clean Energy expert and Sierra Club Energy Lead Tim Milburn will explain the details of new legislation such as the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) which is making clean energy and clean energy jobs more available to Illinoisians of all income levels and the federal Infrastructure, Investment and Jobs Act. Join us as Tim unravels how this landmark legislation fits in for all of us locally and regionally.

Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County -SWANCC
“For those unfamiliar, the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) provides waste management services for our region, including education on recycling, reuse and waste reduction.
The following is an example of the kinds of useful information for residents to learn from. Tons of other helpful resources are available at SWANNC Educational Resources. Mary Allen, a Park Ridge resident, leads the educational effort
at SWANCC and the flyer below shows the “SWANCC Elist”, a set of useful information. For other handy tips and ideas about best practices for handling household waste, check out their SWANCC Community Resources.”
